Whole Numbers
1: Comprehension of Whole Numbers
  • Recognize cardinal numbers from 0 to 100
    • Identify common objects according to:

      • shape
    • Construct sets with objects 1 to 10 in:

2: Sets of Whole Numbers
  • Compare 2 sets using the expressions:

  • Order sets with 1 to 10 objects from least to greatest and vice-versa

3: Reading and writing numbers

4: Comprehension of Addition
  • Add two to three 1- digit numbers horizontally and vertically with sums up to 18
    • Join two sets with 1 to 9 objects
    • Show the relationship of joining sets to addition of whole numbers
    • Add two 1-digit numbers having sums of:
      • 6 and less
      • 7 through 10, (after concept of 1-10)
    • Illustrate that any given number plus zero is the same number
